Eddie Baker, President

“I love PAR because we get to impact lives for Christ and show people His love using music.”

Eddie serves as President, on the board of directors and the leadership team.  Originally from Blacksburg, VA, he holds the associate degree in business from Ferrum College as well as the bachelor’s degree in business from Virginia Tech.   Prior to helping found PAR, Eddie served as managing member of his family’s business, Baker Investments, VP of Paging, Inc, VP of Baker Family Stations and VP of Eastwood Management Corp.  He and his wife, Judith, were married in 1972. They have four children. When not serving at PAR, Eddie enjoys working with Boy Scouts USA, camping, hiking and caring for his horses.

Brian Sanders, Executive VP

“I get to serve the most incredible team doing the most amazing thing…Changing the world”

Brian serves as Executive Vice President, on the board of directors and heads our leadership team. Originally from Coushatta, LA, Brian holds the bachelor’s degree in history and English from Northwestern State University. Prior to PAR, Brian was Director of Development for LifeSongs Radio, New Orleans. He and his wife, Kayla, were married in 1993. When not serving at PAR, Brian enjoys fishing, and spending time with Kayla. Brian is an accomplished writer, and the author of two books, Leadership Endurance and Be Like Dad, both top sellers on Amazon.com.

Kayla Sanders, VP Partner Services

“I love inspiring our teams to connect with our donors…sharing life, praying with them, creating experiences for them that help them to feel cherished, appreciated and seen.”

Kayla serves as VP Partner Services, heads up the Office Managers Team and serves on the Creative Services Team.  Originally from Scunthorpe, England, she grew up in Louisiana and attended Louisiana College and the University of New Orleans.  Prior to joining PAR, Kayla served as Head Lead Teacher for New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary Pre-School and Early Childhood Education Center.  She and her husband, Brian, were married in 1993. When not serving at PAR, Kayla enjoys reading, gardening, organization projects and painting using pre-drawn canvases.

Robyn Porterfield, VP Underwriting

“I love working at PAR because every day, I have the opportunity to do work that has an eternal impact. Being part of the PAR ministry is a privilege.”

Robyn serves as the VP of Underwriting and as Assistant GM of Spirit FM, Lynchburg, VA.  Originally from Roanoke, Robyn holds a bachelor’s degree from Carson Newman University.  She and her husband Keith were married in 1993 and have one child. Prior to joining PAR, Robyn was the Healthcare Partnership Manager for Ashworth College. When not serving at PAR, Robyn enjoys reading, entertaining friends and family as well as outdoor activities, including tennis.

Doug Day, Director of Social Media, General Manager of SpiritFM

“PAR is a place where we can truly change the world and have the freedom to try crazy and out of the box things that may fail, but often push the needle forward in a big way for the Kingdom of God.”

Doug serves as Director of Social Media and General Manager of Spirit FM, Lynchburg, VA. He also is a member of the Digital Media Leadership Team, the Finance Team and the Creative Services Team. Originally from South Otselic, NY, Doug holds the bachelor’s degree in business administration and leadership from Liberty University.  He and his wife, DeAnna were married in 2016 and have one child.  When not serving at PAR, Doug enjoys watching sports, working on home improvement projects and spending time with family.

David Hodges, VP Engineering

David serves as VP of Engineering and on the Leadership Team. Originally from Madison, IN, David holds the bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute. He and his wife, Pauline, were married in 2010 and have two children. When not serving at PAR, David enjoys hiking, birdwatching and working around the house.

Frankie Morea, VP Programming, General Manager of WPER

“I love working at PAR because I get to serve the Lord with the talents He has given me. PAR is a wonderful place of collaboration where we work together to create and deliver experiences for our listeners that inspire them to live passionately for Jesus Christ. What’s not to love?”

Frankie serves as VP Programming, on the Leadership and Creative Services teams. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Frankie has been a broadcaster for more than 35 years.  He and his wife, Eva, were married in 1987 and have two children.  Prior to PAR, Frankie served at stations in New York, Texas and North Carolina. When not serving at PAR, Frankie enjoys home improvement projects, real estate and family.

Debra Bourne, VP Accounting & HR

“I love working at PAR because it allows me to make a difference in the lives of people that I would otherwise never have the opportunity to meet. I am able to use my passions to serve a purpose greater than myself.”

Debra serves as VP of Accounting and Human Resources.  Originally from Radford, VA she holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Radford University and an MBA in Human Resources from Liberty University. Prior to joining PAR, she was Cash Room Supervisor for Barnes & Noble College Booksellers.  Debra and her husband, Jared were married in 2007. When she is not serving at PAR, Debra enjoys Disney vacations, cooking and time with family and friends.

John Long, General Manager of Joy FM

“I love working at PAR because my work has a direct impact on the lives of those who listen. God uses PAR as a tool to carry forward His mercy, love and grace. What cause could be greater than this?”

John serves as general manager of Joy FM, Winston-Salem, NC. Born in Winston-Salem, he holds the bachelor’s degree in communications from East Carolina University. Prior to PAR, John was Marketing Coordinator for Davidson County Community College.  He and his wife, Christy, were married in 1998 and they have two children. When not serving at PAR, John enjoys writing, reading, playing sports, coaching football, hiking and fishing.

Jerry Grimes, VP Creative Services

“I love our mission! We’re out to change the world by creating and delivering experiences that inspire people to live passionately for Jesus Christ.”

Jerry serves as VP of Creative Services, on the leadership team, and heads both the Creative Services and Digital Media Leadership teams.  Originally from Greencastle, Indiana, Jerry studied journalism at Indiana State University and holds the MA in Leadership from Columbia, International University. Prior to PAR, Jerry was VP of Advocace, a consulting firm that is now part of Dickerson-Bakker. He and his wife, Lisa were married in 1981 and raised four children. When not serving at PAR, Jerry enjoys cooking, travel, genealogy, art and music.

Derek Withrow, Director of Culture, General Manager of WalkFM

“I love being challenged to create experiences that inspire people to know and love Jesus more deeply.”

Derek serves as General Manager of Walk FM and PAR’s Director of Culture, serving on the Culture Team and overseeing the ENCW Project. Originally from Flatwoods, Kentucky Derek holds the Bachelor of Education degree from Ohio University.  Prior to joining PAR, he was a youth pastor.  He and his wife, Jesse were married in 2018.  They have two boys from Derek’s prior marriage and one daughter together. When not serving at PAR, Derek enjoys disc golf, photography, reading and playing music.

Adam McCain, VP Operations, General Manager of WCQR

“I’m so thankful that I get the chance to make a difference in someone’s life every day…whether it is someone listening or on my team. That is awesome.”

Adam serves as VP of Operations, on the Leadership Team and Creative Services Team and is General Manager of WCQR-FM, Johnson City, Tennessee. Born in Forest City, NC, Adam holds the bachelor’s degree in broadcasting communications from Appalachian State University.  Adam joined PAR upon graduation. He and his wife, Katie, were married in 2015. When not serving at PAR, Adam enjoys outdoor activities including hiking, golf and mountain biking.
