David started in the radio industry in 2000 and has risen to the position of Director of Engineering at Positive Alternative Radio. He started as a disc jockey while attending Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, IN. While there, he caught the “radio bug” and has been working on the technical side of the industry ever since. After receiving a B.S. in Computer Engineering, David made a short stop at WORX-FM in Madison, IN, before coming to Positive Alternative Radio in 2004 as an engineering technician. In 2010, David completed his “Engineer in Training” program and is now a licensed Professional Engineer in Virginia.
During his time at Positive Alternative Radio, David has served as an engineer in almost every capacity for the organization. He has done it all from computer systems, to studio electronics, to transmitter maintenance, to FM system design.
David’s responsibilities involve engineering management and strategy for Positive Alternative Radio. David strongly believes in the servant leadership model and believes that serving others at PAR is how he can serve the Lord.
